Ami Koshimizu

Ami Koshimizu is a prominent Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer born on February 15, 1986, in Kokubunji, Tokyo. Known for her remarkable vocal versatility, she can convincingly portray a wide range of characters, from young girls and young boys to adult women and more aggressive "tsundere" or "badass" roles. Koshimizu made her voice acting debut in 2003 as the lead, Nadja Applefield, in Ashita no Nadja. She is perhaps best known for iconic roles such as the fiery and passionate Ryūko Matoi in Kill la Kill, the strong-willed pilot Kallen Stadtfeld/Kōzuki in Code Geass (for which she won the Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the first Seiyu Awards in 2007), and the wise wolf Holo in Spice and Wolf. Her extensive filmography also includes Yukiko Amagi in the Persona 4 series, Hibiki Hojo/Cure Melody in Suite PreCure♪, Mai Shiranui in The King of Fighters franchise, and Beidou in the video game Genshin Impact. She is currently affiliated with her own agency, Office Restart, which she founded in 2022.
