Anders Danielsen Lie
Anders Danielsen Lie is a Norwegian actor, musician, and practicing physician, born on January 1, 1979, in Oslo. He is one of Norway's most acclaimed contemporary actors and is best known internationally for his long-standing collaboration with director Joachim Trier, which includes the films Reprise (2006), Oslo, August 31st (2011), and the Oscar-nominated The Worst Person in the World (2021), for which he won the National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actor.In addition to his work with Trier, his notable film roles include playing the perpetrator of the 2011 Norway attacks, Anders Behring Breivik, in Paul Greengrass's 22 July (2018), appearing in Personal Shopper (2016), and starring in Bergman Island (2021). He also maintains a parallel career as a medical doctor in Oslo. Most recently, he starred as The Father in the 2024 film adaptation of Tove Jansson's novel, The Summer Book.
