Andy Nyman (born 13 April 1966, Leicester, England) is a multi-award-winning actor, writer, director, singer, and magician. A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, he came to prominence with roles in films like Severance, Death at a Funeral, Judy, and Jungle Cruise, and on TV as Winston Churchill in Peaky Blinders and Patrick in Charlie Brooker’s Dead Set . On stage, Nyman earned an Olivier nomination for playing Tevye in Trevor Nunn’s Fiddler on the Roof (West End, 2019) and appeared in Hangmen, Assassins, Abigail’s Party, and the hit horror-thriller Ghost Stories, which he co‑wrote and co‑directed (later adapted into a 2017 film).
