Austin Robert Butler, born on August 17, 1991, in Anaheim, California, is an American actor. His career began in television with roles on popular shows on Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel, including "Zoey 101" and "iCarly." He gained more widespread recognition for his starring roles in teen dramas such as "The Carrie Diaries" and "The Shannara Chronicles."Butler's career took a significant turn toward more prominent roles after he made his Broadway debut in the 2018 revival of "The Iceman Cometh" alongside Denzel Washington. He then appeared as a fictionalized version of Manson Family member Tex Watson in Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood."
