Bob Bergen is a highly successful and prolific American voice actor, perhaps best known as the current and long-time voice of the classic Warner Bros. character Porky Pig since 1990. Born on March 8, 1964, in St. Louis, Missouri, Bergen was a determined young fan of animation who trained extensively under industry veterans like Daws Butler and even sought out the original voice of the Looney Tunes, Mel Blanc, as a teenager. His work in the Looney Tunes universe extends beyond Porky Pig to include other characters like Tweety Bird, Marvin the Martian, and Speedy Gonzales across various films, series like The Looney Tunes Show, and shorts such as Looney Tunes Cartoons.Beyond his iconic cartoon roles, Bergen has provided a vast array of voices in other major animated properties. He is the voice of Luke Skywalker in numerous Star Wars video games and in the Robot Chicken: Star Wars specials. He voiced the mysterious spirit No-Face (Kaonashi) in the English dub of Hayao Miyazaki's Oscar-winning film, Spirited Away, and was the original voice of Arsène Lupin III in the Streamline Pictures dubs of earlier anime films like The Castle of Cagliostro. His credits also include the Eager Young Space Cadet in Duck Dodgers and Bucky the Squirrel in The Emperor's New School.
