Bruno Dreyfürst
Bruno Dreyfürst is a French-German actor, born on December 11, 1976, in Karlsruhe, who has built a career across theatre, television, and film, with a particularly strong background in stage work. He is of French and German heritage, is Alsatian, and completed a Bachelor of Theatrical Studies at the University of Strasbourg in 2004. Dreyfürst is a co-founder of the Adrénaline Théâtre company, through which he has directed and performed. His extensive theatre experience includes working with companies like Claque and the bilingual (German and French) troupe BAAL novo, and participating in international improvisation competitions. On screen, Dreyfürst is known for his work in television productions such as Parlement and Disparition inquiétante, and films including Avant que les flammes ne s'éteignent. His most internationally recognized role is portraying the legendary, long-suffering producer Georges de Beauregard (or "Beau-Beau") in Richard Linklater's 2025 film, Nouvelle Vague, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. In the film, his character serves as the exasperated financial anchor to Jean-Luc Godard's creative chaos during the making of Breathless, a performance critics praised as a strong emotional counterpoint.
