Brunson Green is an American film producer and the president of his production company, Harbinger Pictures, based in Los Angeles. Born in November 1967 in Jackson, Mississippi, he is best known for producing the critically acclaimed and commercially successful 2011 film The Help, for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.Green frequently collaborates with his childhood friend, director/writer Tate Taylor, on projects such as the short film Chicken Party, the feature Pretty Ugly People, and the highly successful adaptation of Kathryn Stockett's novel, The Help. His other notable producing credits include A United Kingdom and the upcoming film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel, Regretting You. In his personal life, he is married to former NBA player Jason Collins.
