Charlie Gillespie is a Canadian actor and singer, born on August 26, 1998, in Dieppe, New Brunswick. He began his career in his native Canada with roles in television series like 2nd Generation and Degrassi: Next Class. He is a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, bass, piano, and other instruments.Gillespie gained international recognition for his lead role as the ghostly musician Luke Patterson in the 2020 Netflix musical series Julie and the Phantoms. His performance earned him an MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Musical Moment. His other notable film and television credits include roles in the film The Rest of Us (2019), Runt (2020), the horror-comedy Totally Killer (2023), and a recurring role in the series Charmed.
