Chelsea Alden is an American actress, writer, and director of Portuguese and Irish descent. She began her career at a young age, appearing in commercials and local musical theatre productions. After studying vocal performance and the entertainment industry at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, she transitioned into film and television.Alden has built a substantial acting career with roles in numerous popular TV shows, including "13 Reasons Why" (as Mackenzie), "Shameless" (as Tish), "American Horror Story: Roanoke" (as Alissa), "Grey's Anatomy," "The Good Doctor," "NCIS," and "Veep." Her film credits include "Unfriended: Dark Web" (2018), "The Tale" (2018), and "Disfluency" (2021), for which she received a Best Supporting Actress nomination from the IFJA. She also plays "Young Barbara" in the 2025 psychological horror-drama "The Surrender." In addition to her acting, Alden has expanded into writing and directing, with her directorial feature debut "The Aftertaste" currently in post-production.
