Christian Koerner is a prolific German actor known for his extensive work in film, television, and audio productions, often specializing in speaker roles. Born in 1966 in Tübingen, Germany, Koerner received his primary professional training from 1987 to 1991 at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main. He is based in Berlin and is fluent in English and proficient in various German dialects, including his native Swabian. His career spans several decades, encompassing roles in acclaimed films such as Vier Minuten (Four Minutes, 2006), which won the German Film Award (Deutscher Filmpreis), and Scherbentanz (2002), for which he received the Bavarian Film Award. In television, he has appeared in numerous popular German crime and drama series, including multiple episodes of Tatort, SOKO Wismar, and Die Kirche bleibt im Dorf (The Church Remains in the Village), the latter earning him several award nominations.
