Christian Navarro is an American actor of Puerto Rican descent, born on August 21, 1991, in the Bronx, New York City. He began his professional acting career as a teenager with guest roles in television series like Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Blue Bloods, and later secured a recurring role in Martin Scorsese's HBO series, Vinyl (2016). Navarro's breakthrough came when he landed the main role of Tony Padilla in the highly popular and critically acclaimed Netflix teen drama series, 13 Reasons Why (2017–2020), a performance that earned him widespread recognition. Following this success, he transitioned into film with roles in the biographical comedy-drama Can You Ever Forgive Me? (2018), opposite Melissa McCarthy, and the action film Bushwick (2017). Continuing his work in film, he was a key part of the ensemble cast in the 2022 supernatural horror film Prey for the Devil, where he played the role of Father Dante, a fellow student at the exorcism school who trains alongside the lead character, Sister Ann.
