Claire Friesen is an actress and underwater performer currently based in Vancouver, BC, who grew up in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. She began her performance career as a member of the Canadian National Synchronized Swimming Team, which led her to join Franco Dragone's aquatic Cirque du Soleil show, Le Rêve, as a Captain, Soloist, and Principal Character in Las Vegas. Discovering a passion for acting, she subsequently moved to New York City to train at the prestigious William Esper Studio for a two-year conservatory program focused on the Meisner Technique. Friesen's notable television credits include roles on The Irrational (NBC), Murder in a Small Town (FOX), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon), Jane the Virgin (The CW), Claws (TNT), and Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies (Paramount+). Her film work includes the 2025 folk horror film Keeper (NEON), Wifelike (Paramount), and Buddy Games 2 (Paramount).
