Clayton Watson is an accomplished Australian actor, producer, writer, and director, born on March 23, 1977. He grew up in the Australian outback near Morgan, South Australia, and began acting at the age of 7.Watson gained international recognition for his role as "The Kid" (Michael Karl Popper) in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, as well as voicing the character in Kid's Story from The Animatrix. This role earned him a nomination for Best Newcomer at the American Sci-Fi Awards.Prior to his Matrix fame, he had a breakthrough role as Mickey Steele in the popular Australian television series Always Greener, for which he won an AFI (Australian Film Institute) award. His extensive television credits also include appearances in shows like High Flyers, Home and Away, Neighbours, Sea Patrol, Howzat!
