Fear Below 2025
"Fear Below" is a 2025 Australian action-adventure horror film directed by Matthew Holmes, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Gregory Moss. Set in 1946 Australia, the period thriller follows a struggling team of professional divers from the Sea Dog Diving Company. They are hired to locate and retrieve a sunken car from a river, but their efforts are quickly thwarted by a highly aggressive female bull shark. The situation takes a more treacherous turn when the divers discover they are working for a ruthless criminal gang attempting to recover their stolen gold bullion, proving the gangsters to be as dangerous as the beast lurking beneath the surface.
