Cooper Barnes is a British-American actor, producer, and writer, best known for his role as Captain Man (Ray Manchester) on Nickelodeon's Henry Danger and its spin-off Danger Force. Born on April 15, 1979, in Sheffield, England, he was raised in Northville, Michigan, and graduated from Northville High School in 1997. He began his acting career in 2001 with the film Digging with Earnest and later appeared in various TV series, including Jessie, Kickin' It, Cold Case, Suburgatory, and Switched at Birth. In addition to his acting work, Barnes is the founding member of the sketch comedy troupe Frog Island and has been a recurring sketch player on Conan. He voiced two characters in the animated film Escape from Planet Earth and portrayed Deputy Sam Byron in the TV movie Defending Santa. Barnes has been married to actress and writer Liz Stewart since October 3, 2015, and they have a daughter named Ripley . He continues to be active in the entertainment industry, with recent roles in Danger Force and The Loud House.
