Daphne Scoccia is an Italian actress born on March 31, 1995, in San Benedetto del Tronto. After leaving school early, she moved to Rome, where she worked various low-paid jobs. Her acting career began when she was discovered by director Claudio Giovannesi while working as a waitress in a Monteverde tavern. This led to her breakthrough role as the lead in his 2016 film "Fiore." Her performance in "Fiore" earned her significant recognition, including the Ciak D'Oro for revelation of the year and the Nastro d'Argento for best new actress. She was also nominated for a David di Donatello for best actress for the same role. Since then, Scoccia has appeared in several other films and television series, including "Citizens of the World" (2019), "Nel bagno delle donne" (2020), and the upcoming "Fuori" (2025). She continues to be a notable presence in Italian cinema.
