Elizabeth Dean Lail, born on March 25, 1992, is an American actress widely recognized for her work in television and film, particularly within the thriller and horror genres. A graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Lail began her professional career with a recurring role as Anna in the fourth season of the fantasy series Once Upon a Time in 2014.Her career gained significant momentum with her starring role as Guinevere Beck in the first season of the popular Netflix psychological thriller series You. Her performance earned her critical praise and a nomination for a Saturn Award. She has since starred in other notable horror films, including Countdown and Five Nights at Freddy's, where she played the character Vanessa Shelly. She is set to reprise this role in the sequel, Five Nights at Freddy's 2. In addition to her horror and thriller work, Lail has appeared in a variety of other projects, including the comedy film Mack & Rita and the television drama series Ordinary Joe and Gossip Girl.
