Ghazi Al Ruffai is a rapidly rising Scottish-Bahraini actor, known for his work in film and television, and for his prominent presence as a comedic and character-driven content creator on social media. Born and raised in Bahrain for 19 years before moving to the UK in 2018, Al Ruffai trained at both the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and the Guildford School of Acting. He is celebrated for his versatility and is particularly keen on using his platform to challenge stereotypes and promote under-represented voices. The 25-year-old actor has recently garnered significant attention for his role in the revival of the 28 Days Later franchise. He stars as Jimmy Snake in the third installment, 28 Years Later (2025), and is confirmed to reprise his role in the sequel, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026). His character is a key member of a bizarre, acrobatic cult known as the "Jimmys." Prior to this major film role, his credits include the films Layla (2024) and Snatched!, and the docudrama miniseries Lockerbie: A Search for Truth (2025), in which he portrayed Khaled Megrahi.
