She began her on-screen journey at a very young age, appearing in commercials as an infant and landing her first television role at four and a half in the soap opera One Life to Live (1994-1997), followed by a stint in another soap, Guiding Light (1996-2000). Panettiere gained wider recognition for her portrayal of Sheryl Yoast in the Disney film Remember the Titans (2000).
