Huh Joon-ho
Huh Joon-ho (born April 14, 1964) is a highly respected and versatile South Korean actor with a career spanning over three decades in theater, film, and television. Following in the footsteps of his father, actor Heo Jang-kang, Huh Joon-ho began his acting journey in theater before transitioning to the screen. He gained significant recognition for his role in the 2003 box office hit 'Silmido', for which he won Best Supporting Actor at the Grand Bell Awards. Since then, he has starred in numerous popular and critically acclaimed productions, including the television dramas 'All In', 'Jumong', 'Kingdom', 'Snowdrop', and 'Why Her?', as well as films such as 'Escape from Mogadishu', 'Innocence', and the upcoming 'Dark Nuns' (2025) where he plays Father Andreas.Throughout his career, Huh Joon-ho has received several accolades, including multiple Best Supporting Actor awards at the Blue Dragon Film Awards, Grand Bell Awards, and Buil Film Awards for his compelling performances in films like 'The Terrorist' and 'Escape from Mogadishu'. He also won the Top Excellence Award at the 2022 SBS Drama Awards for his role in 'Why Her?'.
