Jacqueline Susan McKenzie is an Australian actress born on October 24, 1967, in Sydney, New South Wales. After attending the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), she established herself as a versatile and acclaimed performer in her home country. Her breakout role came in the 1992 neo-Nazi drama Romper Stomper, where she starred alongside a young Russell Crowe, earning her critical recognition.Following her success in Australia, where she also won two awards for her performances in Halifax f.p: Lies of the Mind and Angel Baby, McKenzie moved to the United States. She gained a U.S. permanent residency as a "Person of Extraordinary Ability" and went on to have notable roles in American film and television. Her well-known credits include the 1999 sci-fi thriller Deep Blue Sea and her leading role as DHS agent Diana Skouris on the cult science-fiction series The 4400 (2004-2007). More recently, she appeared in the 2021 horror film Malignant. She has also appeared in a variety of other films and TV shows, including Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood and The Water Diviner.
