Malignant 2021

Malignant is a 2021 American horror film directed by James Wan from a screenplay by Akela Cooper, based on a story by Wan, Ingrid Bisu, and Cooper. The film stars Annabelle Wallis as Madison Mitchell, a woman who, after a traumatic event with her abusive husband, begins to have terrifying visions of people being brutally murdered. This leads her on a horrifying journey to uncover the mystery behind her past and the connection she shares with the killer, a mysterious figure named Gabriel. The plot takes a wild and unexpected turn as Madison and her sister, Sydney, delve into Madison's forgotten childhood. They learn that Madison's birth name was Emily May and that she had a parasitic twin brother named Gabriel who was surgically removed and sealed inside her cranium when she was a child. The brutal attack by her husband awakened Gabriel, who is able to take control of Madison's body to carry out his murderous rampage.
