Jamie Nash is a professional American screenwriter, author, and educator based in Maryland. Born on December 20, 1971, in Baltimore, Nash initially pursued a career in computer science, working as a programmer and consultant for firms like Citigroup before transitioning to full-time screenwriting in 2008. He is widely recognized for his versatility in writing both horror and family-oriented films. His notable horror credits include Altered (2006), Seventh Moon (2008), Lovely Molly (2011), Exists (2014), and contributions to the anthology V/H/S/2. On the family side, he has penned scripts for Nickelodeon and other studios, including Santa Hunters (2014), Tiny Christmas (2017), and the 2025 animated feature Mission Santa: Yoyo to the Rescue.
