Jamila Facury
Jamila Facury is a Brazilian actress known for her work in film. She gained significant attention for her role as Sandra in the critically acclaimed 2019 film Bacurau. Her filmography also includes Foreign (2018), Aratu (2022) where she played Vanuza, and The Backlands Shall Sea (2024) in which she portrayed Janaina. Jamila Facury is set to appear in the upcoming 2025 film The Secret Agent, further expanding her acting credits. Beyond her film roles, she is also an art educator, holding degrees in Theater and Letters from UFPB (Federal University of Paraíba), and works as a theater teacher for adolescents at the NGO Artyoga. Her training includes workshops on "Dance of Intentions" with Roberta Carreri (Odin Teatret) and "Acting for Cinema - Sanford Meisner Method" with Tomaz Rezende, among others.
