John Early

John Early is a prominent American comedian, actor, and writer known for his distinctive brand of absurdist humor, sharp wit, and unique stage presence. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, he graduated from the Atlantic Acting School at Tisch School of the Arts and began his career performing stand-up and sketch comedy, notably at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. He gained significant recognition for starring as the main cast member Elliott Goss in all five seasons of the critically acclaimed dark comedy series Search Party (2016–2022) on TBS and HBO Max. His other notable television roles include Detective Culp in The Afterparty, appearances in sketch specials like the Emmy-nominated Would It Kill You To Laugh? (with his frequent collaborator Kate Berlant), and his own HBO comedy special, John Early: Now More Than Ever (2023). In film, he has appeared in projects such as Stress Positions (2024), Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, The Disaster Artist, and Other People.
