Jonah Lees

Jonah Lees is a British actor and singer-songwriter who was born in Colchester in 1995. He began his career as a child actor, making his television debut in the medical drama Holby City and taking on his first recurring role with a voice part in the 2007 animated series Happy Monster Band. As a teenager, he portrayed a young Eric Morecambe in the 2011 television film Eric & Ernie. Lees has since appeared in several notable projects, including the American miniseries Sun Records (2017), the Netflix fantasy series The Letter for the King (2020), and the British comedy film The Phantom of the Open (2022). More recently, he played Morty Rifkin, the piano player at Sardi's, in the 2025 biographical comedy-drama film Blue Moon, and also played John Lennon in the biopic Midas Man. He is also known for his music, having released his debut single, "Branded," in 2020.
