Jonathan Whitesell, born on August 28, 1991, in Duncan, British Columbia, Canada, is a Canadian actor who has garnered recognition for his roles in various television series and films. He stands at 1.73 meters (approximately 5 feet 8 inches) tall. After graduating high school, Whitesell initially considered joining the military, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. However, his passion for acting, which began in childhood, eventually led him to pursue a career in the arts. He attended Capilano University's Acting for Stage and Screen program.Whitesell's career took off with appearances in notable shows such as The X-Files, The 100 where he played Bryan and later Kurtz, Riverdale as Kurtz, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina as Robin Goodfellow. He also portrayed Hercules in the fantasy drama Once Upon a Time. In film, he is known for his roles in The Kill Team, Hold the Dark, and most recently, Valiant One (2025), where he played Jonah Ross.Beyond acting, Whitesell has expressed interest in drawing, painting, photography, and directing short films.
