Joseph Quinn is a British actor born on January 26, 1994, in Clapham, London. He attended Emanuel School before graduating from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in 2015 . Quinn's early career included notable roles in BBC One's Dickensian (2015–2016) as Arthur Havisham and in the 2017 series Howards End as Leonard Bast. He also appeared in Game of Thrones as Koner in Season 7 . His stage work includes performances in Deathwatch (2016), Wish List (2017), and Mosquitoes (2017) at the Royal National Theatre . Quinn gained international fame for his portrayal of Eddie Munson in the fourth season of Netflix's Stranger Things (2022), earning nominations for a Saturn Award and winning the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Breakthrough Performance . In 2024, Quinn starred in A Quiet Place: Day One alongside Lupita Nyong'o and portrayed Emperor Geta in Ridley Scott's Gladiator II . He is set to play Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in Marvel's The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) and its sequels, Avengers: Doomsday (2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (2027) . Additionally, Quinn has been cast as George Harrison in Sam Mendes's upcoming Beatles biopic .
