Julianne Hough

Julianne Hough is an Emmy Award-winning American dancer, actress, and singer who has successfully transitioned from a ballroom champion to a prominent Hollywood entertainer. Born on July 20, 1988, in Orem, Utah, she comes from a family of dancers and moved to London at age ten to train at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy. She first rose to fame as a professional on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, where she became the youngest pro to win two consecutive mirrorball trophies. This success launched her multi-hyphenate career, leading to a #1 country music album in 2008 and starring roles in major musical films such as Burlesque, the 2011 remake of Footloose, and Rock of Ages. She further showcased her acting range in the Nicholas Sparks drama Safe Haven and gave a critically acclaimed performance as Sandy in Fox’s Grease: Live. Beyond her early film success, Hough has remained a fixture in television, serving as a judge on both Dancing with the Stars and America's Got Talent before taking over as the co-host of Dancing with the Stars in 2023. She has also made her mark on Broadway, debuting in the 2022 play POTUS, and has become a significant lifestyle entrepreneur through her wellness platform, KINRGY. As of 2026, she continues to expand her artistic footprint with a role in the gothic reimagining The Bride! and kicked off the year co-hosting the Las Vegas segment of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.
