Kim Bodnia is a Danish actor renowned for his compelling performances in both Scandinavian and international productions. Born on April 12, 1965, in Copenhagen, Denmark, he hails from a Jewish family with Polish and Russian roots. Bodnia began his acting studies at the National Theatre School of Denmark in 1987, graduating in 1991 . He gained widespread recognition for his role as Martin Rohde in the acclaimed Nordic noir series The Bridge (Bron/Broen), which aired from 2011 to 2013.
