Kyle Marvin is an American actor, writer, director, and producer. He was born in Portland, Oregon, and is a frequent collaborator with his friend and creative partner, Michael Angelo Covino.Marvin and Covino first gained widespread recognition for their 2019 film The Climb, which they co-wrote, co-produced, and co-starred in. The film, which originated as a short, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival where it won the Coup de Coeur award, and became a critical success.As an actor, Marvin has also appeared in a variety of other projects, including a role as WeWork co-founder Miguel McKelvey in the Apple TV+ series WeCrashed. His other film credits include Hunter Gatherer and 80 for Brady, which he also directed, marking his feature directorial debut.Marvin and Covino reunited for the 2025 comedy film Splitsville, which they co-wrote, co-produced, and co-starred in, alongside Dakota Johnson and Adria Arjona. In the film, he plays Carey, a man whose marriage to Ashley (Arjona) ends, leading him to discover that his friends, Julie (Johnson) and Paul (Covino), have an open marriage, which complicates all of their relationships.
