Lang Yueting (Chinese: 郎月婷; born March 22, 1985, in Dalian, Liaoning, China) is a distinguished Chinese actress and a classically trained pianist. Her diverse artistic background set her apart early in her career, as she graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music, where she studied piano with Sheng Yuan, and was even invited as a piano soloist for the opening ceremony of the 2009 Winter Universiade. Lang transitioned to acting around 2011, beginning with stage work.She made her film debut in the 2013 Hong Kong crime thriller Blind Detective, directed by Johnnie To. Lang's acting career saw a significant rise with her performance as Hong Xia in the 2015 drama Mountain Cry, which earned her the Asian Newcomer Award at the 20th Busan International Film Festival and a nomination for Best New Actress at the Beijing College Student Film Festival. She is also known for her role in Sylvia Chang's critically acclaimed 2017 film Love Education. Her recent notable works include the action film Extraordinary Mission (2017) and an appearance in Jackie Chan's 2023 movie Ride On.
