Lea Mathilde Skar-Myren, often credited as Lea Myren, is a Norwegian actress and model born on April 21, 2001, in Elverum, Norway. She grew up in Hamar and Oslo and is the daughter of researcher Ane-Marthe Skar. Skar-Myren began her acting career at a young age, notably playing Maya in the NRK drama series "Jenter" (2013-2015; 2018). She attended Hartvig Nissen School, graduating in 2020, and later studied physical theater in Paris. Her notable roles include Jeanette in the NRK sitcom "Familien Lykke" (2020-2024) and Monica "Tatærn" Larsen in the TV 2 drama series "Kids in Crime" (2022-2024), for which she received a Gullruten Award nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Drama in 2025. In 2025, she gained further international attention for her lead role as Elvira in the body horror film "The Ugly Stepsister," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Skar-Myren has also had supporting roles in series like "Side om side" and "Blank," and has worked as a fashion model.
