Leonid Yarmolnik is a well-known Soviet and Russian actor, film producer, and TV host, born on January 22, 1954, in Grodekovo, Russia. He began his acting career at the Taganka Theatre in Moscow, where he was a member of the troupe from 1976 to 1984. He gained early recognition for his humorous miniatures and has since built a prolific career across theatre, film, and television. Yarmolnik has appeared in numerous films, including The Barber of Siberia (1998) and Hard to Be a God (2013). In the 2024 film The Master and Margarita, he played the role of Doctor Stravinsky, the head of the psychiatric clinic where the Master is confined. Yarmolnik's career has also included work as a popular television host and a film producer.
