Lobo Chan

Lobo Chan (born October 15, 1960) is a versatile British artist who is recognized both as an actor and a classically trained opera singer with a mellifluous baritone pitch. Born in Hong Kong, he received his education in the United Kingdom, studying in Cambridge and Edinburgh. His career in film and television often sees him portraying high-ranking Asian officials or character roles, with his most internationally recognized role being Choy, the kind-hearted janitor and friend of the cook Lumpy, on the ship SS Venture in Peter Jackson's 2005 film King Kong. Chan's other notable film appearances include playing the Chinese Premier Xiang Ping in the spy comedy Johnny English Reborn (2011). On television, he has appeared in popular series such as Peaky Blinders (as Mr. Zhang), Killing Eve (as Jin Yeong), and provided voice work for the 2020 TV series Spitting Image.
