Louis D'Esposito is a prominent American film producer and executive, best known as the Co-President of Marvel Studios, a position he shares with Kevin Feige. Born in 1958 in the Bronx, New York, D'Esposito began his career in the early 1990s, working in various production roles including assistant director and associate producer on films like "Basic Instinct" and "The Usual Suspects." He joined Marvel Studios in 2006, playing a crucial role in the inception and expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.Since "Iron Man" (2008), he has served as an executive producer on virtually every MCU film, helping to guide the interconnected universe across multiple phases and contributing to its immense global box office success, which now totals nearly $30 billion. Beyond his executive duties, D'Esposito has also directed two of Marvel's acclaimed "One-Shot" short films, "Item 47" (2012) and "Agent Carter" (2013), the latter of which led to the popular "Agent Carter" television series. He plays a central role in overseeing the development and production of Marvel's feature films and streaming series, and continues to be a key figure in shaping the future of the MCU.
