Maaya Uchida (内田 真礼), born on December 27, 1989, in Tokyo, is a highly regarded Japanese actress, voice actress (seiyū), and singer represented by I'm Enterprise. Her career began in 2010, and she gained significant recognition after winning the Best Rookie Actress Award at the 8th Seiyū Awards in 2014. Uchida is known for voicing iconic characters such as Rikka Takanashi in Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!, Hiyori Iki in Noragami, Norman in The Promised Neverland, Catarina Claes in My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, and Fischl in Genshin Impact. Her interest in voice acting was sparked by gaming in elementary school, leading her to study at the Japan Narration Acting Institute. Uchida also maintains a successful music career, having debuted as a solo artist under Pony Canyon in 2014 with the single "Soushou Innocence," and is the older sister of fellow voice actor Yūma Uchida.
