Majid Panahi
Majid Panahi is an Iranian actor, writer, director, and photographer. He was born in Tehran in 1981. He graduated from Behandish Film School in 2002 and continued his cinema studies at Karnameh Film School in Tehran from 2009-2011, where he studied with Abbas Kiarostami.He is known for his work in both Iranian and international cinema. As a director, his credits include the short films "Sara's Balloon" (2007), "Exclamation Mark" (2008), "Chalangar" (2011), "Don Kisot" (2017), and "Horoz Dövüsü" (2022), which was also his directorial debut. He has also worked extensively in visual effects, including for TV series like "Mrs. Fazilet and Her Daughters" (2017-2018) and "Broken Pieces" (2016-2017).As an actor, Majid Panahi has appeared in "Taxi" (2015) as an uncredited cinema student, and more recently, in Jafar Panahi's "It Was Just an Accident" (2025), where he plays the role of the groom. It is noted that he is Jafar Panahi's nephew.
