Marcel Heupermann

Marcel Heupermann is a German actor, born on October 14, 1994, in Berlin. He began his professional career in theater at a remarkably young age, gaining his first stage experience at just 13 in a production by the renowned director Frank Castorf at the Volksbühne in Berlin, followed by further collaborations at the Deutsches Theater Berlin. He went on to formalize his training, studying acting at the Mozarteum Salzburg. Heupermann is primarily known for his extensive and acclaimed work in German-language theater, having been a permanent ensemble member at the Residenztheater in Munich from 2015 to 2019, and subsequently joining the ensemble of the prestigious Burgtheater in Vienna in the 2019/20 season. His film and television credits include the leading role of Pitbull in the 2015 film Als wir träumten (As We Were Dreaming), a recurring role as Bernd in the critically acclaimed Netflix series The Billion Dollar Code (2021), and roles in German television series like Nachtschicht and the ARD series Die Affäre Cum-Ex. He also appeared as the character Roger in Christian Petzold's 2025 film, Miroirs No. 3.
