Melanie Haynes is a highly experienced American actress with a career spanning over three decades in film, television, and voice acting. Her passion for acting began at a very young age, leading her to earn a bachelor's degree and teaching certificate in Theater and English from the University of Houston. After a period of dancing with Patsy Swayze's Houston Jazz Ballet Company, she transitioned to on-camera acting and voice-over work, quickly establishing herself in both fields.Melanie has an extensive list of credits, showcasing her versatility. In film, she has appeared in notable productions like "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" (where she voiced the Brooklyn Visions Teacher), "Hereditary," "A Country Called Home," "My Christmas Inn," "Antiquities," and the upcoming "California King" (2025) as Ms. Duvernay. Her television appearances include popular series such as "Young Sheldon," "True Detective," "The Middle," "Adam Ruins Everything," "Leverage: Redemption," "Mo," "Mayans M.C.," and "Barry," as well as numerous TV movies throughout her career.Beyond on-screen roles, Melanie Haynes is a prolific voice actress, having lent her voice to thousands of radio and TV commercials for major brands like AT&T, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, and Ford.
