Melissa Villaseñor

Melissa Villaseñor is an American comedian, actress, impressionist, musician, and artist best known for her six-season tenure as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) from 2016 to 2022, where she was the second Latina cast member in the show's history and the first to be promoted to a repertory player. Born in Whittier, California, to Mexican parents, she first gained national attention as a semifinalist on the sixth season of "America's Got Talent" in 2011, showcasing her remarkable talent for celebrity impressions. Her comedy style is characterized by observational humor, musical elements, and a quirky, energetic delivery, often featuring spot-on vocal imitations of figures like Björk, Owen Wilson, and Dolly Parton. Beyond her sketch work on SNL, Villaseñor has built a strong career in voice acting, lending her voice to animated projects such as "Toy Story 4" (as Karen Beverly), "Ralph Breaks the Internet" (as Taffyta Muttonfudge), "Adventure Time" (as Slime Princess and other roles), and OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes. She is also an author and visual artist, releasing her book and creativity workbook, Whoops I'm Awesome!, in 2022.
