Michael Nouri is a veteran American actor with a career spanning over five decades in film, television, and on stage. Born on December 9, 1945, in Washington, D.C., he is best known for his leading role as Nick Hurley in the 1983 romantic drama film Flashdance. While the film was a major commercial success, Nouri's career has been marked by a versatile range of roles in both film and television. He also starred in the 1987 sci-fi horror film The Hidden, for which he received a Saturn Award nomination.On television, Nouri has appeared in numerous series, including recurring roles as Dr. Neil Roberts on The O.C., Phil Grey on Damages, Eli David on NCIS, and Bob Schwartz on Yellowstone. His career also includes work on daytime soap operas like Search for Tomorrow and All My Children.
