Naian González Norvind is a Mexican actress, writer, and producer, born on February 7, 1992, in Mexico City. She hails from a notable acting dynasty, being the daughter of actress Nailea Norvind and the granddaughter of Norwegian-Mexican actress Eva Norvind. She also has two actress sisters, Tessa Ía and Camila Sodi (half-sister). Naian pursued her education at the Sorbonne University in Paris, where she majored in literature and minored in film, and also studied at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA).Her career encompasses a blend of Mexican and international projects across film, television, and theater. She is best known for her starring film roles, including the protagonist in Michel Franco's dramatic film New Order (Nuevo orden) (2020) and her award-winning performance as Ariela in Leona (2018), a film for which she also served as a writer and co-producer. Her work in Leona earned her the Best Actress Award at the 2018 Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). Internationally, she has held roles in television series such as Invasion (2023), Gotham (as Alice Tetch), and Blue Bloods, in addition to stage work at prestigious venues like the Lincoln Center Theater.
