Neil Fanning is an Australian actor, voice artist, stuntman, and safety supervisor, born on April 12, 1967, in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. His entertainment career has spanned over 30 years, during which he has accumulated over 50 movie, television, and commercial credits. Fanning is most famous for performing the voice of the beloved character Scooby-Doo in the live-action films Scooby-Doo (2002) and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004). His diverse career includes extensive stunt work on films such as The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course, Ghost Ship, The Great Raid, and Daybreakers. Prior to his film and voice work, Fanning began his career in 1991 as an opening day entertainer at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, where he performed and managed the Police Academy Stunt Show for 14 years, earning him the theme park's Employee of the Year in 1997 and a nomination for Australia's International Performer of the Year in 1998. He is also a skilled precision stunt driver and continues to work in the film industry, corporate entertainment, and appears at fan events as the voice of Scooby-Doo. He is a father of three children and volunteers as a Patron for the East Maitland's Miracle Assistance Dogs organization.
