Olatunde Olateju Olaolorun "O-T" Fagbenle is an English actor, writer, and director born on January 22, 1981, in London. Raised by his mother and with a childhood that spanned Nigeria, Spain, and the UK, he began his career in theater, performing in a number of acclaimed stage productions and winning a Best Actor award for his portrayal in Six Degrees of Separation.He has since become a versatile presence in both television and film. He is best known for his role as Lucas "Luke" Bankole in the critically acclaimed Hulu drama series The Handmaid's Tale, a performance that earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. He also gained recognition for his portrayal of President Barack Obama in the Showtime series The First Lady and his role as Rick Mason in the Marvel film Black Widow. Fagbenle is also the creator, writer, and star of the comedy series Maxxx, and has had roles in the HBO series Looking, the BBC drama The Interceptor, and the 2025 comedy film Splitsville.
