Peter Sohn is an American filmmaker, animator, storyboard artist, and voice actor, born on October 18, 1977. He is best known for his extensive work with Pixar Animation Studios, where he joined in September 2000. Sohn has contributed to numerous Academy Award-winning films, including "Finding Nemo," "The Incredibles," and "WALL-E," working in various roles within the art, story, and animation departments.His directorial debut at Pixar was the short film "Partly Cloudy," and he went on to direct the feature films "The Good Dinosaur" and the critically acclaimed "Elemental," which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Sohn has also lent his voice talents to several Pixar movies, notably as Emile in "Ratatouille," Squishy in "Monsters University," Ciccio in "Luca," Hoppers (2026) and Sox in "Lightyear." Beyond Pixar, he worked on "The Iron Giant" at Warner Bros. with Brad Bird, the director of "Ratatouille," and at Disney TV.
