Philip Winchester, born on March 24, 1981, is an American actor from Belgrade, Montana. His career began with a small role in the 1998 film The Patriot. He then went on to study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.Winchester has had a varied career with roles in both film and television. He is well-known for his starring role as Sgt. Michael Stonebridge in the television series Strike Back and for playing lead prosecutor Peter Stone in the Dick Wolf-produced dramas Chicago Justice and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Other notable film credits include Thunderbirds (2004), Flyboys (2006), and Solomon Kane (2009). He also appeared in the 2008 television film of William Shakespeare's King Lear, where he played the role of Edmund opposite Ian McKellen. His recent work includes the 2025 film Man with No Past where he plays the character "Jack."
