Pokey LaFarge, born Andrew Heissler on June 26, 1983, is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and actor known for his unique blend of old-time country, blues, folk, early jazz, and Western swing influences. Hailing from Bloomington, Illinois, he adopted the stage name "Pokey LaFarge" as it resonated with the musical style he was pursuing while traveling the country.
