Her acting career began at a young age, appearing in the play "Kalas i Lönneberga" at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm when she was just nine. At nineteen, she moved to New York City to study theater at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. Upon returning to Sweden, she worked with Teater Galeasen and later graduated from Teaterhögskolan i Malmö in 2006.Wärmländer has an extensive filmography in both television and film. She is known for roles in TV series like "Skuggornas hus" (1996), "Cleo," "Skilda världar," and "Spung." Her film credits include "Love and Lemons" (2013), "Holy Mess" (2015), "Border" (2018), "Dancing Queens" (2021), and "Off Track" (2022), reprising her role as Klara in "Off Track 2" (2025). She also played the lead role in the critically acclaimed TV series "Limbo" (2023), for which she also contributed as a writer and executive producer. Rakel Wärmländer is the daughter of Tom Zacharias and Dorotea Wärmländer and has two daughters with actor Lars Bringås.
