Off Track 2 (2025)
"Off Track 2" (also known as "Ur Spår 2" in Swedish) is a Swedish comedy-drama film released globally on Netflix on May 23, 2025. Directed by Mårten Klingberg and produced by Josephine Wallner for Yellowbird Sweden, the film serves as a sequel to the popular "Off Track" (Ur Spår). The story revisits siblings Lisa (Katia Winter) and Daniel (Fredrik Hallgren) three years after the events of the first film. Lisa, now living a sober family life with her daughter Elvira and boyfriend Anders (Ulf Stenberg), plans to cycle the demanding 200-mile Vätternrundan race with Daniel. However, their plans take an unexpected turn when Daniel's wife Klara (Rakel Wärmländer) asks for a divorce, leading Daniel to decide to do the race with Klara instead, hoping to mend their relationship. Meanwhile, Lisa finds herself hesitant about buying a house and marrying Anders, feeling she isn't good enough, and begins to flirt with an old ex. The film explores themes of self-doubt, relationship challenges, and personal growth as the characters embark on a physically and emotionally winding journey. The cast also includes Alexander Karim, Sten Ljunggren, and Claes Månsson. The screenplay was written by Maria Karlsson, Christin Magdu, and Mårten Klingberg.
